UPDATE:
Microsoft just announced that Windows 8 RTM build has been compiled which means Windows 8 has been released to manufacturing. Its general availability is on 26th October 2012.
Good news for Windows 8 folks! Finally Microsoft has announced the final arrival dates for awaited touch Windows edition.
Here is what Microsoft says:
While we have reached our RTM milestone, no software project is ever really “done.” We will continue to monitor and act on your real world experiences with Windows 8—we’ve used the preview process to test out our servicing and we have every intent of doing a great job on this next important phase of the product. Hardware partners will continue to provide new devices and improve support for existing devices. PC makers no doubt have quite a bit in store for all of us as they begin to show off PCs specifically designed for Windows 8, said Steven Sinofsky.

We hope that users running previous Windows will surely go for an upgrade. Meanwhile guys tried beta OSs are now going for pro edition. Microsoft has already confirmed that Windows 7 is the best-selling operating system till now with approximately 630 million copies distributed worldwide.
Windows 8 RTM to be released in 109 languages across 231 markets worldwide. Along with it, Microsoft is also launching Windows Stores to sell their app to make the event commercialize.
