Windows 10 comes with support for some new keyboard shortcuts, while some of the shortcuts introduced in Windows 8 are no longer working with this new OS. Thus, we’re going to share only those shortcuts which are working in Windows 10.

Here is the list of shortcuts we have found till now, which are supported in Windows 10.

Open Settings app.
Windows Key + A Open Windows 10 Action Center aka Notifications Center.
Windows Key + H Share content provided if the currently opened app supports it.
Windows Key + K Connect to wireless displays and audio devices.
Windows Key + X Open Start button context menu.
Windows Key + G Opens the Windows 10 Game Bar to take game screenshots and record gaming videos of Windows 10 games (works in any game app, e.g. Microsoft Solitaire Collection).
Windows Key + [1][2][3][…]
Open programs that are pinned to task bar
E.g. if first pinned program on your task bar is Windows Explorer (from left to right), the shortcut Windows + 1 opens File Explorer for you.
Windows Key + Space Switch keyboard input language (if you have added at least a second one).
Windows Key + R Open Run.
Windows Key + P Projects current screen.
Windows Key + L
Locks your Windows 10 device, press Esc key to unlock.

Shows Windows Desktop.
Windows Key + U
Opens Ease of Access.
Windows Key + B
Shows hidden icons in taskbar notifications area.
Windows Key + PrtScr or Windows Key + Fn + PrtScr
Captures screenshot of current screen and saves it Screenshots directory under Pictures.
Windows Key + T Shows preview tabs above taskbar, of currently opened program.
Windows Key + Tab
Navigate between Task View desktops and see the program tabs currently open.
Windows Key + Ctrl + Left / Right  Switch to the virtual desktop on the left or right.
Windows Key + Down Snap current window to the bottom of the screen.
Windows Key + Up Snap current window to the top of the screen.
Windows Key + Right Snap current window the the right side of the screen.
Windows Key + Left Snap current window to the left side of the screen.
Windows Key + Ctrl + D Create a new virtual desktop and switch to it.
Windows Key + Ctrl + F4 Close the current virtual desktop.
Alt + F4 Closes current program window.
Ctrl + F Opens a Find dialog for searching the currently opened program.
Ctrl + M Enter “mark mode,” which helps for selecting text especially in Command Prompt.
Ctrl + Page Up / Page Down Scrolling up / down on current screen or page.
Ctrl + Up / Down Move up / down on current screen or page line by line.
Ctrl + A Select all content on the screen.
Ctrl + C or Ctrl + Insert
Copies all content on screen to clipboard.
Ctrl + V or Shift + Insert Pastes text at the cursor.
Ctrl + Z
Undo operation.
Ctrl + Y Redo operation, provided if you’ve used Ctrl + Z already.
Ctrl + Page Up / Page Down Scrolling up / down on current screen or page.
Ctrl + Page Up / Page Down Scrolling up / down on current screen or page.
Alt + Tab
This is the good older shortcut we’ve used for year to switch between tabs.
Shift + Left / Right / Up / Down Moves the cursor left a character, right a character, up a line, or down a line, selecting the text along the way. Continue pressing arrow keys to select more text.
Ctrl + Shift + Left / Right Moves the cursor one word to the left or right, selecting that word along the way.
Shift + Home / End Moves the cursor to the beginning or end of the current line, selecting text along the way.
Shift + Page Up / Page Down Moves the cursor up or down a screen, selecting text.
Ctrl + Shift + Home / End Moves the cursor to the beginning or end of the “screen buffer,” selecting all text between the cursor and the beginning or end.
