    Very good article. I also loved how you made such a difficult concept quite easy. Most people struggle to understand the 0x80070424 error code but your article was pretty simple and thorough. With regards to Windows Firewall and the filtering engine, these can be reinstalled if missing for whatever reason. In addition to the steps you mentioned, a similar step to fixing such an error can be highlighted in the source link included below. Fixing the problem manually is also not the only option since most people forgo this step and use a registry cleaner which gets all the job done in a quickie.
