If you are using the Preview Builds of Windows 11 and looking forward to the stable release, here is some good news for you. Microsoft has today announced the general availability (GA) of Windows 11. Microsoft is all set to release Windows 11 on this October 5th. The company said, “Windows 11 will start to become available on October 5, 2021. On this day, the free upgrade to Windows 11 will begin rolling out to eligible Windows 10 PCs and PCs that come pre-loaded with Windows 11 will start to become available for purchase.”

Microsoft announces Windows 11

As of today, Windows 11 is in beta phase and Windows Insiders are testing its latest Preview Builds. With today’s announcement, it is clear that the stable release of Windows 11 will start rolling to everyone on 5th October 2021. If you’ve an eligible Windows 11 device, you will receive this update. This update will be released at different time to different devices. This means, not everyone will get the update on 5th October 2021. Microsoft expects that most of devices will receive Windows 11 updates by mid of 2022. Additionally, you may also see devices coming with Windows 11 pre-installed.
